Before school with his bag and lunch box
After...asleep on the couchJackson had a great first day of school...he loved it! He told me all about playing on the playground, reading a book about pancakes and piggies, and playing basketball in the gym. The only bad thing was he did not take a nap at school. I really did not expect him to do that. When we got home, he was so excited about the day. He finally fell asleep on the couch for about 30 minutes. In case you are wondering what I did on my first day of school...cleaned out my closet. So much fun!

I'm glad he had a great first day! Frances has yet to sleep this year at school, but it does make for an earlier bedtime which is great for me!
Must have been weird to drop him off at school.......I am sure you need the time!
Lawton went to school for the first time today, too! He seemed to love it, but didn't take a nap, either. I didn't think he would! I enjoyed the first day of school, too!
You got more "info" from Jackson than I got from Ford! He was 'all smiles' from his day though & equally as tired...bed @6:45 WOW!!

So sweet. I always want to do something fun when Brooks is at MDO but I end up cleaning house or catching up on laundry.
